Civic. Honda is known for reliability.
Alright, people who are more familiar with cars than me, do I go for a Honda Civic or Mazda 3? I just want something reliable and cheap.

If it's used, pay more attention to maintenance. If new, civic. Or flip side Corolla. Toyota also has 2 years free maintenance on leases.

Civics are historically awesome, but in 2015 the Mazda 3 was rated first in its class by http://caranddriver.com . I got one and it's great

They're both fantastic. Civics will cost more. I've driven both but I like the Mazda 3 more cause it was my first car. :p
