Not a dev but worked hard and created my own events to give myself experience. Competed. Traveled. Consolidated knowledge. Created.
I started as an entry level Game Master, don't be afraid to start at the bottom and work your way up.

Started as a regular forum poster in the Customer Support Forums as a hobby, got hired as a GM and now I'm the Senior for the team. :)
