So what happened that brought Kael'thas back into the meta? He's being picked up a lot lately and I'm curious what the reasoning is.

He's a ranged Hero with a stun, burst and poke. I think he's been viable for a while but teams didn't understand how to play with him before

We've also shifted to an increasing melee meta where he shines the most.

Wouldn't Jaina have a similar effect?

No stun = KT>Jaina

^ also post 13 KT's aoe is on a lower cooldown then jaina by a lot and post 20 hes just the safest hero in the world

Makes sense, just a bit amusing because meta has been melee heavy for ages but he only just now showed up. No stun meta helped I guess?
