Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3 isn’t as exciting as the first two, not a huge fan of the whole Stand concept even if it does have variety to it. Is that the defacto gimmick from now on? Still enjoying it but not binging it at the same rate for sure.

Part 3, especially the first half, is a slog and product of its time (villan of the week). On top of this the creator has no clue what a stand even is himself yet.. The later half gets its bearings and picks up. Part 4 and 5 is where stands finally pay off and have dynamic.

The payoff of part 3 is when they finally get to him. The final arc is amazing.

Also last note. This format stays the same in the next parts but it has much more bizarreness instead of just two power ghosts punching or splashing. The interactions in fights become uhhhh
