I am just so bad at ammo management in Doom Eternal. Constantly redlined and limping from encounter to encounter with barely enough. It's so stressful.

Normal for me. I'm bad at shooters and regularly overkill rather than glorykilling when using automatic weapons, so I think that's a lot of the problem.
I hate to say it but I stopped playing it pretty early on. I went in wanting to shoot things and spent too much time scrounging for ammo. I get what they were going for but it wasn't what I was looking for.

I love the lore they added and the snarky corporation is amazingly fun writing, but I last a couple of combat arenas before getting annoyed at myself for how bad I am and quitting. Hoping for ammo upgrades or that I unlock an infinite ammo cheat from one of the secrets.

yeah so much of it was good, but the game feels like you need to unlock all upgrades before you can really enjoy it.
