I think, like many professional players, I have always wanted to create and design games. But, I am now trying to take steps to make that a thing. I have other projects and such that I am working on as well, but learning to design is my current spare time sink.

I'm really just getting started. But, some good friends suggested Unity and C# so that is my starting point.
Not sure how you're going about self-learning but I have a bunch of good Youtube resources for Unity I can recommend if you're into that kind of thing.
