I think the problem is that even if you want to like Secretary sort of as a point about the subject matter--it's still a formulaic romantic comedy. So if you're not someone who likes those, it's really hard for it to be great movie.

I have no objections to either the subject matter or romantic comedies, simply we went in completely and totally blind and that's not something you should do.
