Yeah, can't really turn the volume high enough to get actual peace. It's just the nature of the beast. Some days I can focus through it, other days I get distracted by every single convo around. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
On the flip side, if your team is very organic in nature it's probably the best way to stay in tune with everything going on so for someone like me it can be extremely useful at times

I get distracted by the convos, rationalize it by saying I'm still contributing to the team by participating in them, and willfully assume that if people wanted me to allocate time differently then they'd have structured the environment differently.
