Yes, I have HGC up on my 2nd monitor whenever it's running! :) I'm curious, what changes would you propose if you wanted to nudge Blaze more towards the main tank role?

the hero doesn't have a tank kit atm with the delay on his stun. Unless it's really extreme I don't see how number changes are going to make him a tank

Muradin has a delay on his stun, ETC has a delay on his stun, Johanna has a delay on her stun, Anub'arak has a delay on his stun, and so on and so forth.

What I meant is with the hero having a perfect kit for solo lane and a big delay of his stun that stops him from punishing opponents it doesn't make sense to play him as a tank because he's more tanky but reducing the delay on his stun would help more with that

Which part of his kit makes him perfect for solo lane?

safe , sustain , waveclear and guaranteed to be effective later thanks to bunker while not being a good main tank

Sounds like waveclear is ultimately what pushes him into the solo vs other “main tanks”? You still haven’t really told me why he can’t be a main tank though other than delay on CC which all main tanks have.

I find visuals help: https://youtu.be/5WOx9mIJysw This is basically why the wind up is such an issue. Compare to the other tanks I use as an example the counterplay to Blaze's engage is a huge window by comparison though it is limited to specific heroes, but draft dependency is rough

actually a really important point related to blaze that I didn't think about typing before your video reminded me of is that blaze is pretty much the only tank with only one cc spell. If he has to use his E to escape or misses it he's a sitting duck and instantly forced to bunker

hard cc* the only potential exception to that rule is Stitches with bile but the hook is such a safe engage tool that it makes it possible for him to work out anyways

How is he the only one though when I just listed two more examples? Muradin, Johanna, Stitches all have just one hard CC spell.

muradin only has one hard cc if he goes avatar but his jump is on a separate spell. So if blaze misses E he has no escape and no cc while if muradin misses stun he can jump away

With that same logic though, Diablo and Anub'arak are in the same boat though if they misplay their engage. Same with Garrosh. If you use your engage in a suboptimal way, you will need to find a way out and none of these characters have one on a "separate" button.
