There has to be a great deal of data that suggests Blaze is a poor hero at lower levels of play. He received a pretty significant buff while Dehaka's global is nerfed. Odd, very odd. #HGC

Have you watched Blaze play at high levels? Burning oil isn't really where most of the waveclear comes from. Most Blaze players use oil for the slow (which got buffed) and sustain. Why do you think Crossfire is the take now.

Yes, I have HGC up on my 2nd monitor whenever it's running! :) I'm curious, what changes would you propose if you wanted to nudge Blaze more towards the main tank role?

Changes look good to push him in MT role hard, only open but we were already transitioning that direction rather than his offlane role. Lucio changes look potentially terrifying? Curious to see how to the global change fit into the greater picture of the 2019 gameplay update

Ever since the mana nerfs most Blazes don't use oil to clear waves at all. So... what nerf? I will say the counterplay to his engage is down with the slow buff, but he still a good off lane as well so that has massive draft implications.

18 base damage per ignited w is a nonexistent nerf when compared to other waveclear tools he has: base aa damage - 55 base trait damage - 40/tick, 360 total base q damage - 83/flame (up to 2x)
-
More importantly, it doesn't even change a breakpoint of needing extra AAs, so literally doesn't change time to clear (if you were using W to begin with)
