if you pre-order BfA then you get a level 110 boost (max level) which is nice. I'm sure you have viewers who will help w dungeons to gear too (a lot of ppl helped in my stream and I'm getting a little caught up). dungeons are cross-server so anyone can help (same faction)
I wouldn't boost if you're a first time player, it will be overwhelming and you'll be skipping a huge chunk of content. Yes, it's a little dated but it will make for a more cohesive experience than just being dropped at max level with the assumption that the world is familiar.

yeah, I'm just letting him know about the boost because if he wants to play, he might as well pre-order as it's time-limted. the first time I played WoW, I leveled a character 1-100 the old way (to learn the game/class), and saved the boost for another class I wanted to play.
