The intellectual work in FW around Igbo ontology is tremendous, and I’m really proud of myself for the rigor I applied to push my mind even more as I wrote DEAR SENTHURAN.
The memoir goes deeper into my embodiment as a god and Ala’s child in ways I rarely talk about in person because there are so few entities I trust to have these conversations with.
I remember some transphobic rat writing whole irrelevant thinkpieces about how he thinks I’m wrong and how he speaks for other Igbo writers in saying I’m not an ogbanje
