No, not at all. Across genres and topics. A bit of horror, a self help book, a memoir, poetry, scripture, etc. Even some bits of an old college textbook

And this may not count, but LOTS of film and also photography? It’s not reading but it helps me immensely. One thing I’ll also do is sort of stage my own photographs and write something to go along with them, it helps me think out my book in a deeper, more visual way
