It took me a long time to come around to being disabled for reasons I discuss in the piece, but as with everything in my life, I had to approach it spiritfirst. I’m very grateful that it has led me to even more tenderness with myself and others.
hello, I had to comment on this because it moved me to tears. i also have the seizures/muscle spasms from trauma and reading this made me feel so much more at peace with myself and my body. i have been feeling horrible lately, but this gave me hope. thank you so much !!!
