This isn’t the first time people have discussed ‘how I’m presenting now’ on my IG vs my author photos. First of all, stop trying to decide which is more ‘authentic’ to fit into your idea of how a non-binary trans person looks, that’s not a thing.
Second, I assure you I am (surprise, surprise) entirely capable of updating my official author photos if I wanted to. Amazing, I know. Competent, even.
Imagine thinking I made some kind of statement about my gender expression just because I cut my fucking hair.
Would you prefer I use one of them? I do want to represent you as you want to be represented.
