I genuinely + wholeheartedly wanted Abiola to succeed. I spent the first 2 years being his council, his homie, his help, as he referred to me as “The King’s hand.” He would praise me around people he respected and looked up to while he told others I was ‘incompetent.’

I am an employee at OkayAfrica and have been for close to 2 years now. My former colleagues, all Black women, have spoken out about their mistreatment at the company under the CEO, Abiola Oke. I stand with these Black women and their stories fully and the call for him to resign.
