Arizona voter suppression marches on.

It isn't "voter suppression" to verify that ballots are legitimate and legal.
-
It's not verification when you're suing to NOT COUNT all ballots that weren't verified before polls closed. If the goal of the suit was verification, it would force everyone to count them all. ALL VERIFIED BALLOTS should count, who cares when they're verified.
-
This is all very simple. Is it legal to drop off your early ballot on election day? Yes. Should your vote NOT count if you vote according to the law? No.
-
The shitty part about the expectation that signature verification (in place to prevent the "voter fraud") be completed prior to election day is that it fails to consider that the largest counties in the state have more LEGAL ballots to verify.

The only way to stop illegal ballots from being counted is to sue the county recorder. That's the process. This is about those ballots that show up on election day with suspicious (or no) signatures. We want every legitimate ballot to be counted.
-
No proof of anything illegal. Let's not suppress votes, as repugs like to do.
-
Ooooh "Repugs." Sick burn! But actually, a ballot that isn't signed or the signature doesn't match the one on file isn't considered a legal ballot. It's illegitimate and should be thrown out.

got it. Had no idea. <sarcasm>
