In other words .. if prop 127 is voted in .. there MIGHT be increase in prices for AZ. Do we take the chance? No, we do not. Too risky of a proposition and chances are it WILL increase substantially . If it is voted in .. cant take it back. Vote NO.

And it’s a guarantee APS will raise rates regardless, they are working on doing that now
-
Yes, that is for sure. They always have rate hikes. However, it would be a very large increase. Can't live with that.

She says “rates in CA increased over 2 times the national average” then lists types of infrastructure needed for CA renewables mandate which affects rates Transmission lines, battery storage etc. Thanks for verifying rates will increase

The CEOs of similarly sized utilities in CA don't make the millions SRP/APS executives do which is a scandal in & of itself.

So they found that the no on 127 was correct after beating around the bush, and then at the end they say that they can’t support it lol, even if the clean energy alone doesn’t increase costs, the byprodcuts of this mandate will raise costs which is bad also. So vote NO on 127

Step 1: Put solar panels everywhere. Step 2: Close down half your power plants because everyone has solar. Step 3: Double rates because of new peak demand when the sun goes down. Old rate a dollar, new rate 2 dollars.

I like how you say the mandate didn’t only cause rates to go up then list additional factors that are essential to making the mandate work are also causing rates to increase. Basically everything APS has been saying about why costs will go up.

Can I increase your rate by 60% but decrease the amount you buy by 50%. You will save money because your buying less.

Not true! Progress and innovation is the only way!
-
Your right progress and innovation are necessary but this bill does not allow for proper progress and innovation it forces the state to use technology that’s not yet cheap or efficient enough. When you mandate something you start hurting the people paying, we don’t get to choose
-
What we need is low interest rate loans to purchase solar for our homes. Instead of leasing at crappy terms. Place caps on rate increases.

Any mandate can create a monopoly when the resource is regulated to a limited amount of suppliers. Prop 127 basically subsidizes the solar industry.
