Once again, the media claims to have no self-awareness of how it thrives by spreading the most sensational and inflammatory "news" (aka spin). You are a cog in the machine, Montini.

Perhaps Trump should stop saying and doing horrible stuff, then the media would have something positive to report. Just a thought.
-
Trump JUST said "We must never allow political violence to take root in America and I'm committed to doing everything in my power as president to stop it." And a Democrat congresswoman's response on CNN was to attack him, call him antisocial, a hypocrite, etc, etc, etc.
-
That’s because he is. Weird how you all love the fact that “Trump speaks his mind,” but bristle when a Democrat does the same. He’s the POTUS. If Trump doesn’t want political violence to take root, he shouldn’t plant, water and fertilize it!
-
The words he just said would be praised if they were spoken by someone else. Trump is a buffoon. But I don't see how there will be a civil tone in America again, even after his term is over. We've become too polarized, which began long ago. Trump used it, but didn't invent it.
-
Those words would be praised because they would be sincere. That’s the difference. Trump can’t rile up his base against certain groups (Dems, FBI, anyone he perceives as his enemy) then pretend he’s a peacemaker.

No, it's not the media's fault. These bombs are the fault of the radicalization of the right. The inflammatory roderic from Mr. Trump and his refusal for common human feelings. Blaming the victim if both unconscionable and another example of Mr. Trump unpresidential behavior.

Remember when the republican baseball game was shot up by a crazy liberal and pelosi said the democratic rhetoric of the left was not to blame? Both she and trump are wrong. And you are wrong. All three players in this bear equal and undeniable responsibility. However, normal
-
people wouldn’t mistake that rhetoric for a call to do harm. Of all the players booker and Harris have actually called for direct confrontation. Trump has not previously condemned violence strongly enough and hannity, Acosta, Maddow, etc fan the flames.

Just thinking foolishly, would these message bombs have been sent if these fiercely vocal progressives had done their jobs, I.e. legislate and advocate? Or if not in government any longer, just collected their 10 figure millions consulting and writing books?

Funny since it will turn out that the fake bombs were sent by a democrat.
