    Sorry I do game development as a hobby. It's not fucking easy, it's not fast even IF you reuse assets and code. And I bet the team didn't even a really good editor like we do now with Unity or UE5

    "MM was made in one year" no I'm very sure that MM was in the public eye for a year but dev had started once OOT was either in beta testing or in Gold release. Esp if it was a smaller team? Oh they'd been working on it for longer than 2 years in some capacity BET

    So you don't know how game dev works. Got it. Also the N64 was simplier in terms of hardware, poly count, lighting, etc than the Switch is so please. Keep these weird takes out of here.

    Zelda Majora's Mask took only 1 year to make, with a smaller team than OOT's! Nintendo could have done the same with Zelda BOTW 2 as they'll reuse map, models & visuals but the fact they'll need 5 years even with all these assets shows BOTW 2 will be gigantic!
