While advocating for our cause, please don't call Uyghurs and other East Turkistanis "Chinese Muslims". It's cringeworthy and offensive. We are a Turkic people w/an occupied land and calling us Chinese doesn't help our narrative. It's like calling Palestinians "Israeli Muslims"

This news deserves all the coverage it's not getting. Russian warplanes bombed the main water station in Idlib today, which supplies water to at least 300,000 people. The water station was targeted to force people into submission as cutting off essential needs is a tactic of war.

Today, I signed the bipartisan Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. The United States will continue to use every tool at our disposal to ensure supply chains are free from the use of forced labor — including from Xinjiang and other parts of China.
