Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) says President Trump deserves credit on North Korea: “I think it’s more than fair to say that the combination of the president’s unpredictability and, indeed, his bellicosity had something to do with the North Koreans deciding to come to the table."pic.twitter.com/Mj1B0hrFHo

They came to the table because they finally had launch-able nukes (the whole point of their nuke program is leverage and deterrence) and they have a US president who will give away the store for a "win", human rights atrocities be damned.

South Korea has been working on a peace summit for years, Moon Jae-in campaigned on it, Kim Jong-Un broke his nuclear testing facility, and Russia paid off 90% of North Korea's debt for a pipeline. Trump can't even sit still for a 10 minute briefing. Relax.

Agreed. But the idea of awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to a man who some believe is a traitor to his country is ludicrous. My candidate for the Nobel at this moment is President Macron.

There is no reason for Kim to meet with Trump. All the details are being worked out without Trump's valuable input.

Congressman Schiff is trying to be gracious. Trump had nothing to do with this. All he does is tweet, golf, hold insane rallies and call in to Fox&Friends. South Korean President has worked it, China and Russia are pushing it, and Kim has a secret agenda.

Given the trajectory of events over the last few decades, with all the starts stops and broken promises, a President who responds with threats of force was inevitable. Trump and his accidental presidency found himself in this position. But can he navigate the next phase?

something = very very little. yes - very very little IS "something." Kinda like a pinch of salt is "something" inside a 10 gallon bucket full of salt. It's NOT nothing, it's just "something" Gotta love Schiff's way with words - Trump can't follow 'em.
