This is what respect looks like. He’s frail and yet wanted with all his being to stand and show respect.

This is what politics used to be. A higher purpose. Putting country and public service above yourself. This was McCain, George H. W. Bush, and Bob Dole. The old guard that did the right thing, because it was the right thing. Seems long gone now.
