Across the globe, democracy appears to be on the wane and strongman-led populism on the rise.https://www.axios.com/understanding-different-types-strongmen-716c5b15-9371-4f27-b22d-d723b932f59d.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=organic …

When did journalists start normalising dictators by rebadging them “strongmen”?

I am hoping that one source of such a trend has crescendoed with trumps mid-term thumping at the polls. Americans largely disapproveof him, his policies, his administration. I suspect, hope anyway, the pendulum is moving back to normalcy...other politicians should pay attention.

Are U serious . . . The U.S. has allowed an electoral authoritarian dynamic to take hold with the electoral college, which twice in the last two decades has allowed presidents to take power with a minority of the votes. Founding Fathers would find this interesting. What a crock!

You mean those “democracies” where open borders, progressive globalists have deceitfully imported and immigrated the votes necessary to fraudulently manipulate said “democracies” to entrench their power? Silly media, the world isn’t as ignorant as you thought it was.

It's strange this makes no mention of the DNC rigging the primary to shaft Bernie. @jimmy_dore

It is evident, the writer of the article doesn’t know or care what words mean, nor do they understand (or they do and are deliberately convoluting) the concept of limited government, and constantly include terms and concepts that define it into descriptions of its polar opposite.
