Trump told "Axios on HBO" that his supporters crave his divisive rhetoric. Meanwhile, the past two years have seen a shift in the political landscape between the media and the public that several press freedom organizations describe as a "grave concern."https://www.axios.com/violence-against-media-bombs-shootings-trump-a59584cb-ac2c-4813-bfef-7b3a4233690d.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=organic&utm_content=1100 …

Perhaps the media should quit lying to its consumers and also stop giving its opinion where neutrality and impartiality are called for.

Curious that you would narrow it to Axios specifically. Axios is a very small part of the media complex and likely doesn’t have a huge impact on the narrative the Leftist media deploys. It’s the NYT, WP, all the alphabet channels that are the problem.

Yeah, maybe if the Press didn’t keep parading Trump around like a bright shiny object to hype their ratings, but simply at the end of the day expose his lies and falsehoods with the actual facts, maybe things would be different.

No doubt about it. Most trump supporters that I've interacted with love & crave the angry divisive rhetoric. Mostly because it validates their fear & paranoia, as well as, their underlying sense of victimhood Trump knows how to exploit that, and craves that attention for himself

Yes, his supporters, at least the ones who thrive on "It's us or them" mentality, who never research before jumping on the Trump train, & believe violence elevates them in the eyes of others. Not anyone else!

His supporters know that he means what he says, it's the lying and purposely misleading networks and journos that are the enemy of the people. They know who they are, their agenda is to sow division and whip people into a violent histeria, much like you're accusing Trump of here.

When media outlets cherry pick some stories to support their view of violence and anti-media hysteria, it makes it look as though all trump supporters are waiting in the wings with pitchforks...and that's just not true. We like truth, we like the backbone, and we're not violent.

Continue to completely ignore the actual violence inciting rhetoric from leading Democratic officials while clutching your pearls about Trump pandering to the crowd. Spin that.

Be specific. I was. Be better. Also, cite a Democratic President who incited violence against the press. In the meantime, Google false equivalency and Whataboutism

Yes I will just bow to your ever virtuous soul since this is some kind of competition I guess. We'll see where the violence comes from after the midterms. Be better. Have a better message. Live in reality. It's all Trump's fault isn't really cutting it.

Trump is giving voice to tens of millions in their frustrations about obvious media bias. They see how partisan the MSM has been for decades, a complete change from 50 years ago. Trump is a tool to force the MSM to regain its objectivity.
