Why it matters: In modern American history, no other president argued it’s not his job to calm people in a moment of high tension and unease, especially in the days following deadly domestic terrorism.https://www.axios.com/trump-axios-hbo-media-enemy-of-the-people-441ae349-3670-4f7d-b5d5-04d339a15f68.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=organic …

Clearly a very weak man who can’t even rationally and intelligently defend his repulsive behavior. And that’s the leader of the world, the commander in Chief, the President of the United States. Very sad and dangerous.
-
He is NOT the leader of the world. Hell no.

The “reporter” here is the one creating hysteria and that’s not “journalism” that’s jingoism. The reporter sounds like he is about to have a kitten
right there. This is why Americans hate the media. After lying to us for generations, we NOW have to take you seriously?
-
I think the reporter gave him every opportunity to say he would care if someone gets killed, he practically begged him to say it. He wouldn’t. And Americans don’t hate journalists, some people hate the truth and those who tell it because those who lie tell them to.
-
Trump doesn't say journalists or reporters are the enemy. He says fake news media is. He is very clear about that and said it repeatedly. Now start looking at your favorite "news" people and see how many have the actual formal education to be called journalists.
-
Does it bother you that he lies so often about provable things?
-
A lot of times the fake news says Trump lied and then a day, a week, a month, a year later it turns out he was right. Can you give an actual example of something Trump unequivocally lied about?
-
Stock exchange being open day after 9/11. Told to 3 different crowds in 1 day. It was closed for 6 days. Jobs eminating from Saudi arms deal from him have gone from 100,000 to upto 1,000000. Defence contractors themselves estimate possibly 6-7 thousand. That's just in last week.
-
Ok let's unpack your examples and see how they stack up. First example sounds like faulty memory. He remembered something wrong, said it for a day, and when finally corrected by his staff stopped. Not a lie.
-
Second example you say yourself is an estimate. How can you lie about an estimate? The President is given one set of numbers, contractors who have a financial motivation to be conservative give another. We won't know for sure who was right for awhile. Not a lie.

He hates to say it so much he keeps tweeting it out over & over: "And that’s why 33 percent of the people in this country believe the fake news is, in fact — and I hate to say this — in fact, the enemy of the people." https://politi.co/2EXmJKR via

Sure, if one says the same thing enough times, it becomes “gospel truth”. He’s made it his MO: his words cheat ppl from the truth. He knows who is to “lazy” to think for themselves &/or research facts, so he spins & weaves whatever he wants. Marketing genius, but not a prez.
-
*too “lazy”

This is a president who enjoys the fact that the power of his words can arouse individuals to violence against the free press.
-
Maybe the guy just says what he believes. It does not have to be complicated.
-
Except when he lies.
