Per our polling @KaiserFamFound, language matters when describing proposals that aim for universal coverage, w/ more support for #MedicareForAll and less for #SinglePayer, with big differences in ratings by political party. Also, arguments, both pro & con, influence views.

The point is Americans want universal health care like all other western countries. Only the democrats will deliver this essential service; the ACA with its pre-existing conditions protections was a good start.

It should look fully like Medicaid, as in, pay-the-damn-bills coverage, *PLUS* full-on price controls. Time for America to move into the modern world, again....

That’s even less feasible than Medicare for All. The only “plausible” explanation I’ve heard of Medicaid 4 All is basically to make it look like an exchange plan, which doesn’t look like Medicaid at all.
