"I don't think that the answer to this problem is solved by having our synagogues, mosques and churches filled with armed guards," said Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto, pushing back on a suggestion by President Trump.https://www.axios.com/pittsburgh-mayor-dismisses-trump-call-to-arm-houses-of-worship-06081b30-7051-44d3-b4d5-e37b80a72f16.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=organic …

Until we get the mental health problem under control (if ever) there's no better solution.

They're only needed because there are too many guns. This is also why your schools are gun-free zones. We don't have all this simply because most weapons are banned.

"Hardly" isn't good enough. We still defend our children against bullets and it's a proven fact that the best protection is prevention by making sure people can't obtain weapons that easy. Here, even children can tell.pic.twitter.com/0mu0hmBz1e

Not sure about that. We get to enjoy life and so freedom a little longer. What's your freedom worth when you're dead? Nothing👍

They have metal detectors in Chicago schools. That’s why they don’t have school shootings.

You said hardly. Metal detection also not needed here. Zero school shootings. It's only needed in your country bc there are too many guns. No other reason and also no excuse.

Why don’t the same guns in Indiana cause the mass shootings that occur across the border in Chicago?
