    Some more VGA Mode X programming under DOS! I am now properly loading in the color palette + drawing random pixels to make it look like confetti. Even on real 486 hardware, Jodi still looks good!

    PS: we also haven't explored *this* sort of "visual programming" nearly enough IMHO (e.g. integrating graphical interactive elements into text editors)

    Periodic Reminder: When debugging, you must first accept that something you believe is true is not true. If everything you believed about this system were true, it would work. It doesn't, so you're wrong about something. This is a surprisingly common stumbling block for devs.

    You don't hear the term "full stack game developer" much, but most gamedevs I know do everything from low level optimization to UI design, and so in a sense we're all full stack.
