Talented and an archangel too was Sister Skyring - I miss visiting the War Memorial a place of solitude, precious memories of all things sacred the Australian armed forces (Army, Navy and Airforce veterans) and one of the best traditions ever seen in this world.
Sister Gertrude May Skyring served as a nurse with the Australian Army Nursing Service during the First World War.
