I’m a millennial who has never watched or read Harry Potter. I got through maybe 30 minutes of the first movie before deciding it wasn’t interesting to me.

Because it was a VERY significant part of our formative years. 7 books + 8 movies all while we were trying to figure out who we are. It’s called #culture. Look it up.

There's no need to use foul language for something as simple as a fan group. Harry Potter was our equivalent to your Percy Jackson and/or Hunger Games growing up. They were fun to read/watch and taught us a lot of life lessons.
