To be clear, I'm not that conspiratorial at all. It's just that the fact that our leaders are chosen so dysfunctionally feels unfair because our elections essentially affect every human on earth, the world suffers because of our incompetence, they already do with Trump.

Irregularities and dysfunction are looked on in suspicion by the US media when it is done by many other countries yet everyone shrugs at the jankiness and dysfunction in this "democracy" that wields singular power over everyone on Earth.
