It’s a real problem. My observation is most startup founders are learning how to make pitch decks instead of learning how to build a business.

I actively refused to go this route because i am so busy literally 24/7 to deal with having to speak to someone and go through their issues when I have serious business of our customers to attend to. I have realised I learn so much by just staying focused on one thing

I'd be perfectly fine growing 60% and being profitable than growing 120% but bleeding out money and worrying about trying to raise another round before our zero cash date

Agree with you. Curious if you have a good litmus test for when something is unlikely to be “venture scale” at inception?

My litmus test: if everything goes right, is there a reasonable path to ~$100M in revenue in ~5 years?
