It's interesting to think about how much companies not having to pay massive amounts of money for offices will increase productivity. Both via increased employee productivity/focus as well as less cash needed to start, more cash for growth.

Counterintuitive: I’ve found it’s actually a disadvantage to have an “in” at a company/potential customer. Nobody likes having a friend who wants a favor or the pressure/awkwardness. The ultimate “in” is having the right solution to a customer’s problem and a good reputation.

Is there an easy way to make custom mixes of Spotify songs? Not just cross faded queue, like proper timeline editing etc. Proper DJ mix.

Buying a home is one of the top 3 investments people make. Why does it take a month or more? Answer: transferring title, lawyers etc. Stocks aren’t much different. Behind the scenes there’s a bunch of complex things happening. Someone should fix this.

The hand washing reminder/timer in the new version of Apple Watch OS is one of the best new features in years. This says a lot about how little Watch OS has evolved. (Still a great, super useful feature) PS: What happened to Walkie Talkie? RIP.

Media is hard. But 2 media startups have emerged in the last few years that are incredibly cash efficient (less than $5M raised combined), doing real revenue (both in the eight figures this year), and profitable. Props to The Hustle and Morning Brew. That’s how you do it.
