    By fixing security issues as I find them, the game of breaking into SerenityOS is becoming harder and harder for me. It's like playing chess against myself. It's still fun, but I can tell it's gonna start to get frustrating. 👨‍💻🤔

    But innovation is still very much possible. Just look at Apple pushing for improved privacy for normal users on the web while other vendors scoff at them (as they tie their own hands with Google string.)

    It’s easy to see the logic though. Innovation in the browser space is complicated, and you have to work together with others. Makes it convenient to say “not worth it” and be a skin instead.

    Isn’t it weird how all the “new” browsers lately are just glorified WinAmp skins? I feel for the engineers on these teams. Imagine spending years on crafting a custom and capable web engine only for management to turn your project into a Chromium theme. 😳🤔
