Truly open social network with zero economic incentives and means of coercion would be something akin to signal protocol + torrent network. Anyone would be able to run servers and economic and governance control attack vectors are minimised. Will be good to get ’s take.

This highlights true decentralised solution is likely not token based, which can converge to centralisation and open to whims / demands of large token holders. Signal setup works because tech is truly open source, and no economic incentive connected to running the signal server.
