1/ I learned something about myself today. 6 years ago, when Asher was born, an ultrasound incidentally discovered he had a fairly common congenital heart defect, a bicuspid aortic valve. This hasn't caused any complications for him, and generally doesn't until later in life.

BTW a bicupsid aortic valve is called a "fish mouth valve" because it looks like this when it's open. (A normal valve would split three ways).pic.twitter.com/JXI3mNVWjO
