Just guessing here, but it could be some kind of keylogger or other intrusion software running on the machine, looking at various info (including iCloud), and somehow it tripped over itself. I would investigate before dismissing.

Woh. First time I hear of this. What could go wrong. If I used iCloud, I'd rush to turn this feature off. So I guess I was half write. It's not 3rd party malware on
@avibryant's machine, it's a manufacturer-provided malware development framework.
