Really looking forward to more ML in conferencing systems: smart unmute, dynamic volume, visual signals that people would like to speak... use all the data: camera, microphone, keyboard/mouse movement.... VC could be really great. cc @zoom_us

I wonder if there's some workable video-chat paradigm that's not-quite-realtime, more like group chat, where it records and then queues up the people speaking, and you have a couple of seconds to say "no I didn't mean to say anything" before your message goes off.

Yep, It’s only a matter of time before ML and computer vision pushes video chat into a fully natural/invisible way of communicating live. The face recognition stuff was only the beginning of what we had planned at Perch.
