Twitterverse: I need to make 1:1 simple sure but don't have a scale. What's the volume ratio?
googling the density of sugar, looks like you want about 1 water : 0.6 sugar by volume?

oh actually I know the weight of a cup of sugar: 200g. And a cup of water is 250g
