Abuse of implicits seems to be Scala's equivalent to Ruby programmers' abuse of metaprogramming.
@chadfowler @evanphx I'm much more comfortable with implicit params than implicit conversions. At least they're in the signature.

@avibryant@chadfowler Are there Scala IDEs that can expose implicit converters during development? -
@evanphx@chadfowler there's a flag to the compiler that will show you your code with implicits made explicit. -
@avibryant@chadfowler Show how? -
@evanphx@chadfowler -Xprint:typer -
@avibryant@chadfowler So when you're confused about wtf is going on, you run a file through that to have the compiler explain. Makes sense.

@avibryant@chadfowler@evanphx imo explicit calls of imported implicits (e.g. collection.JavaConverters) are pretty readableThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
