I so regret choosing iBooks.
@marcprecipice wait. Because you *might* not be able to read a book a second time, you deliberately choose books where you wouldn't want to?

-
@avibryant yup. The ones I think I might read twice I buy in paper. -
@marcprecipice I understand every step in this chain of reasoning, but I still feel like "[I] read fewer keeper books" is a perverse outcome -
@avibryant for sure. I think DRM in ebooks is completely evil. (Great autocorrect: "ebooks" -> "Ebola") -
@avibryant that said, we've wandered: I tried to make iBooks okay despite all this, and I regret it. -
@marcprecipice@avibryant moving's kept me focused on keeping a light library, and ubiquitous availability less concerned about my keepers. -
@davidliammoran
@avibryant I wish I could agree on ubiquity, but every new format loses some greats. Eg, find Tampopo in post-DVD video. :( -
@marcprecipice @davidliammoran :((( I even had a digital rip of Tampopo at one point that I lost in a (laptop) move.
