Are there any good web-based mapping tools for showing 100s of thousands of point features, ideally on top of Google Maps or equiv, with smooth zooming/panning?

I've been using 's fantastic mapshaper.org which does a pretty good job on the default viz for points but bogs down once you start styling them at all.

Yeah, I've tried loading this dataset into ArcGIS Online and it basically just crashes.
