A genre that I wished existed: short autobiographies that cover ages 10-20. So much formation happens there and yet conventional biographies can rarely provide much insight.

Some coming of age memoirs do this very nicely and memorably. But writing one of those is a serious task. I’d love to read the long-blog-post/talk-length version for so many people.

Just in case you haven't read it, a prime example of the short-book-length version of this is Uncle Tungsten.
