One person who isn’t here tonight: the 20yo waitress I met today who is working two 20h/week jobs, neither of which provides health insurance, and who didn’t recall being contacted by a single campaign. BUT—she does plan to vote, for the first time, against Trump this fall.

Cop convicted of planting crack on innocent couple. Given probation. Judge “swayed by how he lost his job, pension, & health.” In other words, the same consequences for people I represent jailed on bail *before conviction* that no judge ever cares about.

When thinking about people with disabilities, caucuses go from “these don’t seem like a good way to do things” to “wow, this is actively infuriating.”

Caucuses look great on paper, and it's hard not to like the idea in principle if you have any (small-r) republican leanings, but in practice and on reflection they seem really undemocratic.

💯 We live on 1% of Earth's habitable land. It's not like we're overcrowded. The problem is overconsumption. Almost 40% of the world's habitable land is used for farm animals, of whom we kill some 70Bn annually for luxury food. That is the population problem, if anything is.

    1) Far too many blacks in media & that talk on YouTube on wealth have no idea that black America is nearly wealthless and its ultimate consequence. Again the race splits 2.5% of America’s wealth. With 75% in the hands of the top few black families.

"In 2018, nearly 20 civilians were killed or injured every day by land mines and other unexploded ordnance remnants.... Children represented 40 percent of the casualties." In other words, a "pro-life" administration, amirite ?

Unimpeachable serious wrongdoing is the view affirmed by and potentially many others. Have any even floated censure? Or will the acquittal be unconditional, a simple affirmation that we have a monarch now?

When the Senate acquitted Clinton, it also censured him. The censure communicated the Senate's view that he was guilty of serious wrongdoing that did not meet the high bar of impeachment.
