Saw a musician friend’s post that mentioned playing last night and realized that “playing” is currently 100% associated with games for me. Maybe I’ll join a band again someday, but I’m enjoying my nerd renaissance for now.

A while back I bought one of those spiky acupressure mats and I LOVE IT. Any time my upper back gets cranky, the mat fixes it right up. Not exactly pleasant, but it works for me.

Had the thought that it might be nice to get a better quality nail clipper so I did a quick online search. AND NEVERMIND! If I had that kind of money, I’d just get a manicure every time my nails got too long.

Today Dottie got TWO new durable squeak toys of the type she likes for playing fetch and she's both beside herself with joy and frustrated because she can't decide which one to play with at any given time. I probably should have held one back.

The McDonald's closest to me recently added an AI chatbot to take your order in the drive-thru. It always asks how many creams and sugars I want with my coffee and I can't figure out what it wants to hear. "Zero" and "none" aren't it. Next time I'll try ordering black coffee.

Trying to decide if I should go out and do some trash tree removal or save it for a cooler day.
Spouse reports that Dottie spent the entire time I was mowing this morning whining in distress that I was outside. That explains the 30 minutes post-mowing that she spent sitting next to me in my chair, gazing directly into my face, all dewy-eyed.
