    Different communication partners. DIfferent setting. It is obvious his self-esteem has grown by leaps & bounds because he understands the power of his voice. He can dictate his choices and he can make decisions for himself. It’s amazing how AAC has helped him build independence.

    “He uses Avaz only with me. I wish he used it with others too.” This was her last year. And now, She cannot be more proud of how confidently Varun orders ‘Special Lunch’ on an outing with his school.

    Why does Varun ordering his favourite meal at a restaurant mean a lot to his mom? Because Varun, who is verbal, was introduced to Avaz AAC only at 23. And she cannot help wondering how much more he could have communicated with her & others if only she has known about AAC earlier
