we play the same games in Europe, we don’t have these problems. gun control is most of solving this issue.

I have seen a lot of tweets & articles about the difference in gun control in Europe & USA. I think, should we learn from these differences? Also curious- what is the difference between USA and countries in Europe on how mental health needs are dealt with?

Our health care is significantly better prepared to handle bodily health issues, regarding mental health, it’s sadly not that good. mind you, we have murders, but having no guns means knives are used, and the chances are better to survive assault with a knife/melee weapon

Thank you for your reply. I have seen parents unable to get adequate help for children, adults unable to get adequate help all in regards to mental health...what can we do about mental health...I wonder if there is a place that handles it well that could be a model for others.

sadly, Austria isn’t that place. mental health stigma is a big factor and we have high suicide rates in rural areas despite living quality being really good. I guess I was lucky that I got free therapy during my bachelor/master programmes. that set the foundation for me.

The major issue is the vast separation video games create in knowledge of real gun use versus what most people call gun porn. Real gun use is careful. Games as they work today in society make gun caution a liability.
