I feel there will hopefully be an awakening soon. That is not to say there isn’t a place for medicine, however, I fear we’ve entered a zombie apocalypse...what if the key to happiness isn’t in a pill or any object. Depression will persist until this thought is allowed to exist.

Not the primary answer no, but it's important not to discount drugs entirely. Sometimes they can be the very thing that boost you out of the downward spiral, helping you get your life back on track.

We've known for a very long time depression is a normal response to not getting one's needs met, from nutrients to a loving home, yet it's more profitable to repress that information and sell drugs.

Best
#prescription for depression? Two glasses pinot noir, a nice bubble bath, soft music... Taking a little time for yourself can go a long way towards alleviating stress, which is often at the root of depression.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Great article! Thanks for sharing it & for writing SuperBetter. When multiple losses & an antidepressant medication error almost took me out, listening to you read SB & taking action steps called for were life savers while I dug deeper/got help. SB Book & app = vital to healing.
