Is the best form of collaborative storybuilding a "game" (in common sense not technical)? I'm not sure about that.

@avantgame@TheAuthorM@qh_murphy I just can't go along with definitions that write out such a useful and interesting idea. -
@lumpleygames@TheAuthorM@qh_murphy it doesn't rule out the idea. you've created a game and it's a game. for two players. -
@avantgame@TheAuthorM@qh_murphy ...But why haven't I created a game for three players, one unwitting? -
@lumpleygames@avantgame Would it be possible to create a game with three unwitting players, and no active players? -
@TheAuthorM@avantgame Sure. Conceivably we're playing one now, the three of us. Who's to say otherwise? -
@lumpleygames@avantgame but it is also important to define a game within borders to be a helpful term to better understand the medium. -
@TheAuthorM@avantgame I disagree! Wherever you draw your border, it's a game designer's duty to wander capriciously and without regard. -
@lumpleygames@avantgame Can we agree that a pile of rocks is not a game (not that it can't be made into a game, but that it is not a game) - 10 more replies

@avantgame@lumpleygames@TheAuthorM@qh_murphy Agreed. Great game, but it's a two player came. Most newer defs of "game" require "consent"Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@avantgame@TheAuthorM@qh_murphy I realize that by asserting an unwitting player I'm contradicting more serious thinkers than I!Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
